our services, the job market and other information that we think may
be helpful to you. Check back here often. Feel free to send us your
questions.
"What's
the difference between Canada US Employment and a regular employment
agency?"
"Why couldn't I do a job search on my own?"
"What is your success rate?"
"Are jobs guaranteed?"
"Are my qualifications marketable / demand in
North America?"
" What's the difference between Canada US Employment and
regular employment agencies? "
Regular employment agencies will not consider people who are not available
to attend interviews in person and who do not have the requisite visa.
The employer companies they work for expect to fill vacancies within
weeks and only wish to look at those who have visas, are available
for interviews and can start to work after giving notice of termination.
What you require is a company that will work for you to pro-actively
present your qualifications to prospective employers in order to obtain
employment interviews for you. We specialize in conducting job searches
in cities across North America for our clients. Our company is a licensed
international employment service which does not charge fees to the
employer and we use this strategy to obtain interviews for clients
who in most cases do not have previous Canadian or American experience.
The ideal time to retain our services is at least 6 weeks prior to
arrival - either for a scheduled visit or permanent relocation. The
first step is the Employability Report©

" Why couldn't I conduct a job search on
my own? "
There's no question that you could do a job search on your own (many
people have). However for someone who is newly settled in North America,
and has not begun their job search prior to relocation it may take
a number of weeks to merely get started (learning about the culture,
language, formalities, etc). It takes time to create a North American
styled resume, cover letter, identify relevant potential employers
and then send the resumes out. It may take weeks to get at least one
job interview and 3-6 months to obtain a job offer. Thus it is a lengthy
and time consuming process, which is further complicated by different
hiring practices in Canada and the United States.
On the Full-Service Job Search Program®,
employment interviews are arranged prior to a scheduled visit or permanent
relocation. We contact employers in advance of your arrival to ensure
that employment interviews start immediately to provide the necessary
momentum to obtain a suitable job offer. Our proven job search process
ensures you get the head start you need for successful relocation.

" What is your success rate? "
On the Full-Service Job Search Program®
the success rate for obtaining a suitable job offer is 70-80%. Since
we don't charge employers, employers are under no obligation and have
nothing to lose by granting interviews for individuals who under normal
circumstance would not be seriously considered due to the high cost
of recruitment fees charged by regular employment services. In many
instances employers will create new positions for our clients who
are well qualified and have transferable skills.

" Are jobs guaranteed? "
We cannot guarantee job offers will result from the use of our service.
This is because we do not make hiring decisions nor do we attend the
employment interviews. We do guarantee however our best effort to
arrange as many employment interviews as possible and to provide pre-interview
preparation and interview strategies necessary to progress the hiring
process to the job offer stage. We are pleased to provide references
of clients who have utilized our services at the time you are ready
to make an informed decision.

" Are my qualifications marketable / in demand in North America?
"
In many cases international experience is equivalent and in other
cases it is not. It depends largely on your occupation, your employment
history, your education and your employment objectives. Having your
education professionally evaluated will determine its transferability
to North America. Credential Evaluation
The more specialised and current your experience and skills are the
less need there is for North American experience. We provide a comprehensive
employment appraisal called the Employability
Report© which assesses your qualifications,
employment objective, all employment options, makes recommendations
and determines the cost to conduct your job search. Your employment
appraisal estimates your salary potential in Canada or the US and
provides an opportunity to ask specific questions related to your
relocation plans and employment requirements. When you order your
appraisal, we send you the necessary forms to be completed which you
then return with your supporting documents.
